#What´s the difference on A liveaboard trip in Maldives with us?
The Maldives extend over a length of 872km from north to south, 26 atolls and with over 1200 islands in the middle of the Indian ocean. The dive sites are more or less innumerable and there is no better way to scuba dive than on a Maldives liveaboard with our boats Moonima, EcoBlue and Blueshark One. We sail and dive all routings and divesites in the Maldives from far north to deep south, and our itineraries are carefully selected depending on the monsoon season. You can for sure travel the Maldives the whole year round. The Maldives are well known and famous for big fish of all kinds and they host for example, a huge manta ray population (5000 already identified) and the South Ari Atoll resident whale shark population that can be found all year round. The grey reefshark population is unique. Also rare species like guitar shark or tresher sharks we encounter from time to time.
Big fish is on the agenda but also the macro world has a lot to offer. On our Deep South itineraries and our Tiger Shark Special, diving with tiger sharks in Fuvahmulah is even, more or less, guaranteed.
We offer routings for dive beginners and professionals.
Unfortunately also this paradise is under pressure. Climate change and pollution from trash and sewage are threatening our oceans more than ever.
We are committed to doing our best to make the liveaboard as environmentally friendly as possible. Our own production of drinking water, use of sustainable products for our promotional materials, beach clean up's and cooperation with PARLEY FOR THE OCEANS, SAVE THE BEACH MALDIVES and support of research organizations are just a few of our actions. In 2021 we were awarded the GREEN STAR AWARD by PADI.
