What a week on the EcoPro Seascape! We just returned from a Best of Maldives liveaboard tour that delivered everything we love about the ocean: adrenaline, serenity, and a fantastic community of 28 guests.
World-Class Diving and Local Secrets
The Maldives showed its best side. From the massive shark sightings at Rasdhoo Corner to the eagle rays in the channels and the turtles at Fish Head, the visibility was stunning.
A real highlight was our "secret" Manta session: while other boats crowded the main areas, our guides found a quiet cleaning station where we spent an hour with seven Mantas all to ourselves.
The magic didn't stop at sunset. Our night dive at Fesdu was legendary, with over 10 Mantas dancing in the spotlights.
Mantas at night are always a very special experience for all divers.
More than Diving: Life on Board
There is always a lot beyond diving too: we enjoyed a sunset coloured in pure pink with fresh "Kurumba" (Dhivehi for coconut) on a secluded sandbank, had our delicious beach BBQ under the stars and celebrated a guest's birthday with fresh cake and a view of the Indian Ocean. How does this sound?
Diving Without Borders
At EcoProDivers, "we care" means everyone belongs in the water. This tour was particularly special because we had a wheelchair user on board. Thanks to our crew's dedication and the Seascape's modern setup, he was able to join every single dive of the trip. Seeing him surface with a massive smile, and hearing he had the best experience, were moments that moved us all.
