Welcome to the heart of the Maldives Deep South. Our latest journey through the Huvadhoo and Fuvahmulah atolls was a masterclass in big fish encounters. From the moment our 15 guests stepped onto the modern decks of the EcoPro Seascape, the ocean delivered a spectacle of apex predators and graceful rays that few places on Earth can match.

At EcoProDivers, your peace of mind is our priority. We are all aware of the sobering reports of liveaboard accidents in the industry, which is why we strictly adhere to the highest safety protocols. We want you to focus on the magic of the reef, knowing that our "Safety First" commitment is the foundation of every trip on our Maldives liveaboard.
Before we headed into the blue, we conducted a comprehensive safety drill on the very first day. With the gear checked and everyone briefed, the only thing left was to descend into the crystal-clear waters and let the magic of the Deep South unfold.
A Shark Symphony: From Hammerhead Schools to Thresher Sharks
The diving kicked off with legendary energy. At Kooddoo Spinner Point, our guests were treated to a rare "shark six-pack," including Spinner sharks, Silver tips, and even two massive Bull sharks. But the surprises didn't stop there.
During a shift in our itinerary to avoid crowded sites, we hit the Kooddoo Channel. The reward? Perfect incoming currents and a breathtaking schooling of Hammerhead sharks. Seeing these iconic silhouettes patrolling the blue is the hallmark of a premium liveaboard diving experience.
For those seeking the rare and elusive, a Thresher shark also made a graceful appearance at the Nilandhu Wall, while the "Blue" at Gemanafushi surprised us with massive silky sharks and oceanic turtles.

The Fuvahmulah Spectacle: 14 Tiger Sharks
The undisputed highlight of the week took place at the world-famous "Tiger Zoo" in Fuvahmulah. This dive is unlike any other. We were surrounded by more than 14 Tiger sharks, providing an adrenaline-filled yet serene encounter with these powerful creatures.
Our guests were absolutely stoked by the sheer number and proximity of the sharks. It’s moments like these – where the raw power of nature meets the comfort of our flagship vessel – that define the EcoPro experience.
Between these high-voltage dives, we also visited a local island to enjoy the peaceful, clean, and authentic Maldivian culture, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable liveaboard diving and community respect.
Dancing with Eagle Rays and Giants in the Maldives Deep South
As we explored the channels of Maareha, the ocean shifted from raw power to pure elegance. We were treated to a magnificent show of more than 10 Eagle Rays gliding effortlessly through the channel mouth. The flow was so smooth that it felt like a choreographed underwater ballet.
To top off the experience, our nights were spent in the whale shark zones. While these giants are known for their elusive nature, the sight of a whale shark rising behind the boat at midnight reminded us of the magic that happens when you stay in the heart of the ocean.
Whether it's the thrill of the "Tiger Zoo" or the grace of the Eagle Rays, the EcoPro Seascape provides the ultimate platform for these once-in-a-lifetime encounters.
