Our Phinisi cruise Komodo season showed once again why small-group liveaboard diving in Komodo National Park is so special.
What a wild ride it has been! As we wrap up the May to December season aboard the EcoPro Duyung Baru, we’ve been looking at the numbers and let’s just say, you guys kept us busy. Between world-class drift dives and sunset Bintangs, we’ve made some memories that will last a lifetime.
Here is the "by the numbers" breakdown of what went down in the heart of Komodo National Park this year.

The Deep Dive (Literally)
From May to December, we ran 28 trips and welcomed 153 guests into our EcoPro family. Our legendary guides, Lucy and Norman, spent a staggering 413 dives underwater. That is 14 full days submerged! If they start growing gills soon, nobody be surprised.
For those who preferred the surface view, Lucy, Norman, Yudi, and Dede led 41 snorkel sessions, showing off Komodo’s vibrant reefs to our non-diving adventurers.
The Heavy Lifting (Don't Skip Leg Day)
Behind the scenes, the "Engine Room Dream Team" was working harder than a Manta swimming against a "Shot Gun" current:
3,030 scuba tanks were filled by Bas Sahril.
Dede and Yudi lifted those 3,030 tanks, which equals roughly 49 tonnes.
To put that in perspective: that is the weight of more than 30 cars. Who needs a gym when you work on a Phinisi cruise Komodo?

Fueling the Adventure
Exploring the Komodo National Park requires some serious calories. Chef Wiky and the crew made sure no one went hungry (or thirsty):
3,500 eggs were cracked and cooked. Whether poached, fried, or scrambled, Wiky is officially the Egg Master.
We consumed 550kg of rice (guests) and over 1,600kg (crew).
And because safety first also means hydration and celebration: Leksi popped the caps off 1,680 Bintangs. Cheers to that!
Why Guests Love Our Phinisi Cruise Komodo Experience
Numbers are fun, but the real magic is in the community we’re building. We are incredibly proud to have received 51 new 5-star Google Reviews during this period. Knowing that you appreciate our focus on small groups, personal service, and our EcoPro sustainability efforts means the world to us.
Whether you came for the Mantas, the Komodo dragons, or just to escape the digital world, thank you for choosing the most personal Phinisi experience in Indonesia.
