What an amazing trip again! We recently welcomed 27 guests aboard our flagship, the EcoPro Seascape, for a journey through the heart of the Maldivian archipelago.
This "Best of Maldives" itinerary delivered exactly what it promised: a perfect mix of high-adrenaline channel dives, magical megafauna encounters, and the signature premium comfort that defines our new era of Maldives liveaboard diving.
From the first check dive to the final safety stop, our guests – ranging from current-loving pros to those who prefer a more relaxed pace – experienced the vibrant diversity of the underwater world.

A Symphony of Mantas and Mobula Rays
The action started strong in the North Rasdhoo Atoll. Being the first boat at the dive site, we were greeted by grey reef sharks and a perfect eastern current. But the true stars of the week were the rays. During an afternoon near Gangehi, we counted over 16 manta rays dancing around our divers.
The highlight for many, however, was a dive where we hooked into the current and were suddenly surrounded by a massive school of Mobula rays gliding past. Seeing these elegant creatures in such high numbers was a moment of pure magic. For those who love the nightlife, our manta night dive added to the experience, with two mantas circling throughout the dive.
From Whale Shark to Macro Treasures: Kudimaa Wreck
It wasn't all about the big stuff! In South Ari, we explored the Kudimaa Wreck. While the currents were medium and the site was popular, it offered a fantastic opportunity for our photographers.
One of the most memorable days followed shortly after. We spotted a whale shark from the Seascape and, since no other boats were around, we jumped in for a snorkel session.
To our amazement, we encountered two different whale sharks. It’s these spontaneous, intimate moments that make a boutique Maldives liveaboard journey so unique.

Exploring the Channels: The Best of Maldives Liveaboard Experience
As we moved toward the southern channels of Meemu and Vaavu, the currents picked up, much to the delight of our experienced "Eco-Pros." Miyaru Kandu in the Vaavu Atoll stood out as a clear favorite. With a strong incoming current and crystal-clear water, we hooked onto the reef and watched a parade of sharks and massive schools of tuna pass by.
Life on Board: Sustainable Luxury and Community
At EcoProDivers, we believe the experience above the surface should be just as rewarding as the diving. Our guests enjoyed:
Beach Dinners & Island Visits: From a festive dinner on a deserted beach to a huge bonfire with local music, we ensured a deep connection with the local culture.
The Seascape Crew: Our team received a well-deserved standing ovation for their dedication to safety and personal service.
Celebrations: We were honored to celebrate a milestone 300th dive with one of our loyal repeaters.
Between dives, the whirlpool on the sun deck and our Barista-Bar became the natural gathering spots.
Whether it was the tiny macro life at the wreck or the sight of dolphins jumping in the distance, this trip was a perfect example of why we have the EcoPro Seascape in our fleet.
The Maldives are waiting for you. Are you ready to jump in? Check our live availabilities here.
